The Central Bucks Swim Team (CBST)
is a United States Swimming (USS) aquatic program near Doylestown PA.
Central Bucks Swim Team was created with the desire to foster an elite level of
swimming in the Central Bucks area.
We are dedicated to creating opportunities
for our athletes to attain their goals and reach higher standards through
attention to technique and a proper training regimen.
In our sixth year, Central Bucks Swim Team has grown to over 140 swimmers and we
have had swimmers compete at Junior Nationals, Super Sectionals, Sectionals, Eastern Zones, and
Middle Atlantic (MA) Junior Olympics. Click on

Summer 2010 Team and
Individual Highlights and Accomplishments (to date)
•12U Girls Team Champions at the
MA Junior Olympics
•12U Girls victorious in all 3 JO’s relays by margins of 4, 5,
and 11 seconds (Team members involved in these relays, Emily
Kosten, Paige Kramar, Shanna Colyar, Allie Szekely and Cassidy
Fries)
•CBST finishing 5th overall at JO’s with 1086 points (10 points
short of 4th)
•CBST finishing 6th at MA Senior Champs
•Our Boys Relays finishing 2nd in both free relays, with our 400
Free and Medley Relays qualifying for Junior Nationals (Team
members on these relays, Tim Ware, David Speese, Kyle Magee,
Kevin Magee, and Riley Weber)
•Emily Kosten was Swimmer of the Meet for 12U Girls at JO’s with
7 individual victories, winning many of her events by over 3-5
seconds
•Allie Szekely (12U) won the 100 and 200 Breast at JO’s, setting
a new meet record in the 200, finishing 3rd overall in the
individual point total
•Cassidy Fries finished 2nd in both the 12U 100 and 200 Breast
•Greg Brocato (12U) won the 50, 100, 200 Free the 50 Fly and the
100 Back, and finished only 3.5 points behind for the individual
points championship
•Greg set a new meet record in the 50 Free (27.13) and a new
meet and Mid Atlantic record in the 100 Free (58.65)
• We had 5 swimmers participate at the Eastern Zone All-Star
meet, Kirsten Brasch, Jackson Green, Allie Szekely, Hunter
McRree and Greg Brocato
•Allie has also won the 50 Breast at the Eastern Zones
Championship
•Greg reset the Mid Atlantic record in the 100 Free, with a
58.08, with a win at the Eastern Zones All-Star Championship,
also winning the 50 Free at the meet!
•Jackson Green won the 10U 50 Breast, dropping 3 seconds to do
it
•Kyle Magee attained a Junior National time with a 24.26 in the
50 Free, and made a Junior National bonus cut in the 100 Fly
•David Speese finished 33rd in the 200 Breast at Junior
Nationals, and was only .7 off the Senior National qualifying
time, and he was 31st over all in the 100 Breast.
•Megan Lafferty finaled in 4 individual events at the Eastern
Zone Super Sectionals, winning the 50 Free, and finishing in the
top 6 for individual points
•Megan Lafferty, Melissa Ross and Kyle Magee all finaled at
Super Sectionals
•CBST finished in the top 15 (of 50+ teams) at Super Sectionals with only 5
swimmers attending
