Long Course Volunteer and Officiating Responsibilities
As in the past, CBST will be assigned to work during the Long Course Championship meets. If your swimmer is participating in a meet, you should expect to be asked to volunteer at some point during that meet. If you plan on officiating during this meet or cannot volunteer during a particular session, please email Julie Kline at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Meet Entries – Availability Deadlines and Instructions:
Please note for every meet, all communications about entries are via the portal with any updates to be emailed to Julie Kline and Stu Kukla. If you need to have a conversation with a coach about entries, you must either modify your portal comments (preferable) or follow it up with an email to Julie AND Stu confirming the specifics of the conversation prior to the deadline for entry availability. Do not rely on the coach to remember. All charges for entries will be based only on documented portal and email communications.
Junior Olympics meet information and time standards have been posted on the MA website and on the CBST website under the Meet Information tab.
If your swimmer qualifies and would like to attend Long Course Junior Olympics, please indicate availability no later than July 9, 2017 at 10:00 am. In the Comments section of the Availability Report, please make sure that you provide any entry information, requests, etc. that you would like communicated to the coaches. Coaches assume that all swimmers are available to swim in a relay if asked.
We are aware that there may be a few opportunities after this deadline to qualify for Junior Olympics. If your swimmer qualifies for a race after the deadline, please email Julie Kline at email@example.com AND Coach Stu at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 11:59 PM on July 16, 2017 for your swimmer to be entered into the meet. (Note that the July 16, 2017 deadline is ONLY for events for which swimmers qualify after the deadline listed above. No other changes - for example time updates - can be made.)
