At this time, we do not have information about when most of these meets are going to open, but we anticipate that when they get posted, entries will open at the same time. Thus, we need to collect availability prior to meet sheets being posted, so we will have the information needed to act quickly. (Note that regarding the PAAC meet, info is posted and we’ve not heard back from PAAC if we can get in but at this point want to just send entries.)
The meets listed below are now in the portal for availability indication. Please indicate availability immediately. The current deadline is Thursday, March 17 at 11:59 p.m. but if GPAC or NLAC open in the meantime we may provide an email notification with a short window to get availability in for that meet and close it earlier, so please don’t wait for the deadline in case we need to accelerate the timeline in this way.
1) May 14 -15, 2016 GPAC at GCIT
2) May 20 - 22, 2016 PAAC Spring Thaw
3) June 17 - 19, 2016 Nittany Lion Aquatic Club at PSU OR June 17 - 19, 2016 Jersey Wahoos at GCIT (Please note: When indicating Availability for this weekend, keep in mind that NLAC is our 1st choice and Wahoos is our 2nd choice. If we are shut out of our first choice, we will immediately send our entries to our 2nd choice. Indicate any necessary information about your swimmer’s attendance in the comments box.)
The entries will not be circulated prior to being submitted to the host team and you will be responsible for the fees for any events at any location into which the coaches enter your swimmer based on your availability indication, so please check your schedule and indicate availability as soon as possible and prior to the deadline which is Thursday, March 17 at 11:59 p.m. No swimmers will be entered into the meet unless they indicate that they are available in the portal.
Note also that new swimmers must use the comments box to indicate events they want, but returning swimmers can just indicate availabilty (but may include event comments if they feel strongly about certain events).
Please refer to the explanatory email sent on February 17th and contact Julie Kline with any further questions. email@example.com
Thanks and have a great week!
